Ultrasonography System – Aplio i900

Echocardiography is performed in the Ultrasound Diagnostics Department using a premium-class ultrasound system - Canon Aplio i900 equipped with a matrix 4D transducer.

● In addition to routine echocardiography, myocardial wall motion can be assessed using the advanced and unique method of 2D-3D speckle tracking echocardiography (STE).

● This method is angle-independent, allowing evaluation of myocardial wall motion in three planes - longitudinal, radial, and circumferential.
