What is Interventional Radiology?

Interventional radiology refers to minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed without the need for surgical intervention.

Diagnostic Interventions:

• Fine needle biopsy for cytological examination
• Core needle biopsy for tissue morphological examination (soft tissues, lymph nodes, abdominal cavity parenchymal organs, retroperitoneal space, chest, lungs, including mediastinum)
