Todua Clinic Interventional Radiology Department is equipped with ultrasound equipment:

The following procedures are performed in the Department:

 

Diagnostic interventions:

 

  • Fine needle biopsy for cytological examination
  • Large needle biopsy for tissue morphological examination (soft tissues, lymph nodes, parenchymal organs of the abdomen, retroperitoneal space, chest, lung, including mediastinum)
  • Diagnostic aspiration of abdominal and pleural fluid for cytology
  • Percutaneous cholangiography.

 

Minimally invasive drainage and aspiration interventions (percutaneous, vaginal, and rectal approach):

  • External drainage of intrahepatic bile ducts (cholangiostomy)
  • External-internal drainage of intrahepatic bile ducts
  • External drainage of the gallbladder (cholecystostomy)
  • Drainage of the subdiaphragmatic abscess
  • Aspiration of liver abscesses
  • Drainage of liver abscesses
  • Aspiration and drainage of liver hematoma
  • Aspiration and drainage of liver cyst (including parasitic)
  • Percutaneous jejunostomy
  • Transarterial embolization and chemoembolization of liver tumors
  • Percutaneous aspiration of a pseudocyst of the pancreas
  • Nephrostomy
  • Aspiration of renal cyst-sclerotherapy
  • Drainage of a kidney cyst (abscess)
  • Percutaneous drainage of a tubular abscess
  • Transvaginal and percutaneous aspiration of tubo-ovarian abscess - rinsing, drainage
  • Ovarian cyst aspiration by percutaneous and transvaginal approach
  • Aspiration-washing of the prostate gland abscess
  • Aspiration-washing of Paraproctitis with a per-rectal approach
  • Aspiration of postoperative seroma of the abdominal wall
  • Drainage of ascites fluid
  • Aspiration of breast cysts
  • Pericardial drainage

 

Local ablation of tissue formations:

 

  • Percutaneous radiofrequency ablation (RSA) and microwave ablation (MTA)

 

 

Restoration of blood vessels and ducts (including endoluminal RSA):

 

  • Dilatation / stenting of the bile ducts
  • Jejunum duct stenting
  • Recanalization of the bile duct block by stenting
  • Recirculation of the blocked jejunum duct by stenting

 

Angiographic interventions:

  • Embolization during internal bleeding
  • Transarterial embolization and chemoembolization of liver tumors.

 

 

Percutaneous litholapaxy procedures:

  • Percutaneous biliary litholapaxy
