The department is conducting the following studies:

  • X-ray diagnostic procedures for thoracic cavity ailments.
  • Investigations of the digestive tract organs, encompassing dynamic assessments of the esophagus, stomach, and both large and small intestines.
  • Double contrast Irrigoscopy.
  • X-ray diagnostic evaluations for genitourinary system diseases, such as general reviews, intravenous urography, blending studies, antegrade and retrograde cystography, urethrography, and hysterosalpingography.
  • Polypositional, stationary, and post-surgical radiography of the musculoskeletal system.
  • X-ray diagnostic procedures for breast diseases, including mammography and ductography.
  • Radiological assessments of the biliary system, which involve antegrade and retrograde cholangiopancreatography, as well as intraoperative and postoperative antegrade cholangiography.
  • Fistulography for various localizations.
  • DEXA densitometry (dual energy X-ray absorptiometry), recognized as the gold standard for diagnosing osteoporosis, equipped with programs such as TBS (Trabecular Bone Index), the FRAX algorithm, determination of prosthetic femoral and knee joint mineralization, extended examination of the femur, morphometry of the spine, and whole-body composition analysis.

The unit has:

The department is equipped with the latest generation digital fluoroscopic X-ray system manufactured by Siemens Luminos Fusion FD which comes with a digital detector. Additionally, it features the cutting-edge GE DXA-densitometry device, the Lunar Protigy Pro.

X-ray

The X-ray machine is commonly used in diverse healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and dental practices, owing to its versatility. X-rays are instrumental in examining various bodily components, encompassing both bone and soft tissue. They play crucial role in diagnosing and monitoring of a wide range of medical conditions.

As of now, this field has advanced considerably, with the availability of numerous contemporary devices making X-ray procedures significantly more efficient. At Todua Clinic, we possess top-tier equipment that provides advantages such as rapid X-ray results, minimized radiation exposure, and the capability to manipulate and enhance images for heightened precision.

The X-ray image reveals the body's internal formations, including bones, organs, and tissues. These images are examined by radiologists and other healthcare practitioners to identify a variety of conditions and injuries. Afflictions such as fractures, tumors (cancerous conditions), infections, and other health issues are frequently identified through X-ray examinations.

Siemens is a leading medical technology company producing a wide range of medical equipment, including an advanced X-ray machine. At Todua Clinic we have the following three X-ray machines: CIOs Alpha, Luminos DRF Max and MULTIX impact.

CIOs Alpha  X-ray machine

The CIOs Alpha is a latest C-arm X-ray system engineered for using across multiple medical facilities, such as surgery rooms, emergency departments, and intensive care units. Key features of CIOs Alpha include:

  • Advanced imaging technology: CIOs Alpha is equipped with high-resolution image sensors and advanced image processing algorithms for clear, detailed X-rays. This technology helps healthcare professionals accurately diagnose and treat diseases.
  • Wireless communication: The system uses wireless communication, which allows seamless transfer of images and data. This facilitates collaboration between medical teams and the rapid exchange of test  results.
  • Ease of use: CIOs Alpha has a simple interface and ergonomic design, enabling medical personnel to operate it with ease and efficiency.

Luminos DRF Max

Luminos DRF Max is a digital radiography and fluoroscopy system that combines the advanced features of both technologies. It is often used in radiological departments for various studies, including gastrointestinal examination and orthopedic procedures.

The instrument has a dual modality image. The system seamlessly transitions between digital radiography (DR) and fluoroscopy (RF), enabling both static and real-time imaging. This diversity is important for diagnostic and interventional procedures.

The digital radiography component of the system produces high quality static images with lower doses, which contributes to diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.

MULTIX X-ray machine

MULTIX impact is a radiography and fluoroscopy system designed for efficient imaging. In addition, the device creates maximum patient comfort.

Designed to endure substantial stress, ergonomic features enhance the user experience and simplify workflow.

MULTIX impact has a user-friendly interface and automatic positioning that facilitate effortless image capture.

At Todua Clinic, we are committed to providing top-notch services to our patients. Consequently, we regularly update our medical equipment to ensure access to the latest technologies. X-rays play a vital role in diagnosing and treating various conditions and complications. Hence, we encourage you not to postpone and to schedule a consultation with our professionals.
