Capillaroscopy

The Inspectis Digital Capillaroscope is a high-end digital videocapillaroscopy system representing a modern, precise, and non-invasive diagnostic technology used for detailed assessment of microcirculation.

For the first time in Georgia, this advanced examination and the highest-configuration device are available at the Digomi branch of Todua Clinic.

This system is considered one of the most reliable and informative methods for evaluating microvascular structures. It enables high-resolution, real-time visualization of capillaries, allowing physicians to assess both structural and functional changes in microcirculation.

Technologically, the system integrates a high-quality optical module, a digital sensor, and specialized software. The device provides approximately 200× standard magnification and a 5-megapixel image resolution, enabling the visualization of capillary details such as dilation, deformation, microhemorrhages, and structural changes.

Clinically, capillaroscopy is widely used in rheumatology (including systemic sclerosis, Raynaud’s syndrome, and connective tissue diseases), as well as in angiology and general diagnostics, where assessment of microcirculation is essential. The method is completely non-invasive, safe, and comfortable for the patient, allowing its use both in primary diagnosis and in follow-up monitoring.
