In the Department of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology all types of endoscopic diagnostic examinations and therapeutic endoscopic is carried out for pre-cancerous diseases of the upper respiratory tract, trachea and bronchi, benign and malignant tumors.
The Department is equipped with an ultra-modern digital endoscopic device - Evis Exera III, which is characterized by high image quality, resulting in a more detailed study of the pathological process. Near-focus imaging and color-changing function diagnose existing pathology at an early stage. Evis Exera III is the gold standard in the diagnosis of pre-cancerous diseases and the visualization of tumors.
The following diagnostic procedures are carried out in Todua Clinic:
- Video endoscopy of upper respiratory tract
- Laryngoscopy
- Tracheoscopy
- Bronchoscopy
- Endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA)
- Ultrasonography with biopsy and brush biopsy of peripheral lung tumors
