Covedien LigaSure FT10

The Covedien FT10 is a state-of-the-art electrosurgical generator. It is equipped with special laparoscopic knives with LigaSure technology allowing all types of laparoscopic surgery. The technology has two main functions - tissue cutting and coagulation. The device can perform both operations simultaneously, i.e. any cut tissue will instantly coagulate - "seal" the blood vessels by supplying the right amount of bipolar energy and with this prevent intraoperative bleeding.

This technology can seal blood vessels up to 7 mm in diameter. The generator is equipped with Smart technology that accurately determines the required amount of power the

 revolutionary application Tissuefect, constantly monitors the electro-resistant properties of various tissues and only then precisely manage correct voltage delivery to the laparoscopic knife. The technology receives 434,000 units of data per second, which is 100 times faster than any other its predecessors. Consequently, the machine creates complete control over cutting and coagulation eliminating the need for manual control by human resources.
