VARIAN TRUEBEAM

The radiation therapy system in Truebeam - integrates a special computed tomography with synchronization of 3D imaging and treatment technologies, through which the patient undergoes radiation therapy based on accurate imaging. These latest technologies allow to maximally irradiate the target area with much greater precision and at the same time protecting healthy organs and tissues.

The device makes treatment procedures easier for patients, as the latest technologies provide fast irradiation procedures. Consequently, the patient no longer needs to be restricted during treatment for a long time. The system of the apparatus monitors the accuracy of the radiation settings every 10 milliseconds throughout the entire cycle of radiation therapy. Doctors have the ability to irradiate several abnormal foci

simultaneously with maximum protection of the surrounding healthy tissues.

The device provides synchronized radiation therapy with respiration allowing clinicians to correlate the location of the tumor with respect to the patient's breathing cycle.
